While visiting Avalanche Ranch outside of Carbondale, Colorado, a friend suggested the Goat Kitchen and Bar. Loved the atmosphere in this restaurant. It was spacious and open with lots of windows. We were served by a super cute and friendly young lady who was very attentive, but not invasive. I wasn't very hungry at this meal, but they offered French onion soup on the menu that night. That was what I decided on and it was absolutely delicious. Rich beef broth with lots of onions plenty of cheese and just the right amount of toast bread baked on top. I'm very much enjoyed my time and my meal here. I highly recommend if you're in Carbondale that you try the Goat.
Food was ok the elk burger was phenomenal but I wish the gyro had more tzatziki sauce on it. The fries were pretty greasy. Service was good and fast. The ambiance was great this is an awesome restaurant.
Fantastic homemade food with ownership that actually cares that they have happy customers. Two fantastic Elk burgers, a beautiful beet salad, and a hummus plate. The Greek slaw was a wonderful side. Beautiful setting as well. Food came out very quickly.
We love the food. Everything was delicious. They were short staffed but the one server did an amazing job.
